Our Turn-Heart Venus Talisman was crafted with the task of gaining favor from one’s enemies, making it indispensable to those in highly competitive environments. It seeks to turn the heart of those who dislike us so that they may begin to hold us in high esteem, favoring us over others which they may turn a kinder eye to.
These talismans were crafted on May 1st, according to the directions shared by Papus in his Traité Méthodique de Magie Pratique, in which he claims this talisman is excellent for exciting love. Further research, and divination with the help of my spirits, has led me to think that this talisman is in fact better suited to gaining favor and honor, and to appeal to those with disdain for us. As such, each talisman was loaded with a combination of dominating and enchanting herbs and materia, including Licorice root, for sweet domination; Lobelia, for influence over the mind and heart; Elder berry for influence over the spirit; Myrrh, for sweetness and friendship; Jezebel root for domination and seduction; blessed Honey, for sweetness; Garden of Earthly Delights oil, to channel the influences of Venus and Taurus (the Angel of the latter being which this talisman calls upon); Turn-Heart Dust, for influence and to turn the heart of an enemy into that of a friend (or lover!), and a few other secrets. Each talisman was then empowered and blessed in the day and hour of Venus, being fumigated with our Ox-Clad Queen’s Earth Smoke Incense.
To use this talisman, it must simply be fed with liquor or smoke, and be told the names of those whose hearts you wish to turn. We recommend feeding this talisman with Venus in Taurus Attuning Tincture, or any other alcoholic concoction containing worts appropriate to its purpose; consider a tincture of Licorice and Tobacco in honeyed brandy. Ox-Clad Queen’s Earth Smoke, or any incense compounded for the sake of influencing or dominating can be used to fumigate it. However, we encourage you to apply your own techniques and methods to the use of this talisman.
