Saint Expedite's Fixed Candle
Saint Expedite is the patron Saint of urgent matters and immediacy. He answers when called, regardless of the querent's spiritual affiliations. Asking only for a humble slice of poundcake, a glass of water, and perhaps a few red carnations, Saint Expedite works at the speed of lightning to fulfill his petitioner's requests.
These candles were poured from blessed beeswax and soy wax, over which prayers to Saint Expedite and appropriate Psalms were sung. To this wax was added a quantity of Oil of Saint Expedite. Once set, the candles were dressed with Dust of the Quickened Foot, and set to cure on Saint Expedite's altar. Each was prayed over and blessed in the name of our Urgent Saint, who conferred his powers unto them.
Burn this candle atop your petitions to Saint Expedite, and dress with appropriate oils and botanicals. Or, place it as an offering upon his altar. I like burning mine within a bowl filled with a variety of materia appropriate to my requests. Each candle bears a prayer to Saint Expedite, to be repeated each day the candle remains burning.
These candle burn for 6-9 days, depending on how warm or cool your space is.
