Dearly Beloved Candles
Candlelight is the power by which our Beloved are drawn to us. It is their lantern in the darkness of the otherworld, it is the torch carried by so many psychopomps as they guide the Dead to and from the gates of Hades. When we wish to pray, we set a candle. When we wish to find our way, we light it. When we do not know how to move on, we set flame to the bridges we have built, letting the light illuminate the path ahead.
These candles, by their flames, guide the Dead to us, and by virtue of its nature, draws a bridge between our world and the Above. Their light pleases the Dead, and their sweet perfume engages them.
Hand-dipped in pure Canadian beeswax, sourced from a small beekeeper in Ontario, these candles were rolled in a mixture of Madder root, graveyard dirt, and Fulgurite. This materia calls on the Dead, gives them voice, and blood once more. It joins the Sky and Land, breaching the worlds by its power.
Burn at your Ancestor altar, or as part of rituals with and for the Dead. Burn also in acts of necromancy for positive outcome. By notching them, these candles can be made excellent for novenas or for spellwork with the Ancestors.
100% pure, blessed Canadian beeswax, Madder root, graveyard dirt, and Fulgurite. All items collected and treated with respect, devotion, and according to magical contract.
